Berlin, 31.07.2024 – Shiftmove, the pioneer of holistic mobility operations software, is equipping its Avrios fleet management software with a new OEM integration that provides fleet managers with precise mileage data in real time - directly from the vehicle telematics of the fleet vehicles. No additional hardware is required for the new software extension. The aim is to significantly simplify fleet management and make it more precise in order to reduce errors, time and resources in the fleet.
Accurate data increases fleet efficiency
Precise mileage data in the vehicle fleet is crucial - for example for managing leasing contracts, planning maintenance and calculating the total cost of ownership. Reliable and up-to-date data supports operational decisions that enable optimised vehicle usage and reduce costs. An automated process in the new Avrios OEM integration eliminates the need to enter mileage data manually.
OEM integration also for electric vehicles
The software extension for live odometer readings supports a wide range of vehicle manufacturers, including many electric cars, and is suitable for a wide variety of fleet compositions. Each vehicle can be individually checked for suitability and activated within the fleet management software. As soon as a vehicle is active and is moved, mileage data is transferred to the fleet management system on a daily basis. The OEM integration feature is currently available for vehicles within Europe.
New era of fleet management

Privacy protection
The OEM software extension complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ensures that the privacy of drivers is always protected. Driving styles, location or speed data are not recorded.
